E-Learning for Disaster Risk Assessment Experts – BNPB

As part of the INVEST DM 2.0 program, CERDAS has been entrusted to support BNPB in developing an E-Learning module for Disaster Risk Assessment Specialists (TA-KRB) to enhance the capacity of stakeholders in preparing Disaster Risk Assessment (KRB) documents. One of the key initiatives within this mechanism is a self-paced learning module for specialists. The results of this activity are expected to be utilized by BNPB to conduct online training on KRB preparation. Thus, the module can be used by stakeholders to learn how to prepare KRB documents for their respective regions.

Digital Transformation of Policy Recommendation Development Governance

CERDAS contributed to the digital transformation of internal governance at the Center for Health Policy Development (BKPK), Ministry of Health, particularly in monitoring the business processes of evidence-based policy recommendation development. One of the latest platforms developed in collaboration with the CERDAS team enables BKPK to monitor the implementation of various policy recommendation processes online.

Regulatory Analysis Study of the MARVEL SEA 2025 Carbon Market Program in Surabaya City

CERDAS has been entrusted by Wahana Visi Indonesia to assess the readiness for implementing the Mangrove-based Carbon Market Project (MbCMP) in Surabaya City, as a response to the global climate crisis driven by Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. The MbCMP leverages the natural potential of mangroves to absorb GHGs while simultaneously providing social and economic benefits to coastal communities. This study highlights the importance of strengthening regulations, governance, and local capacity to support the implementation of a fair, sustainable, and impactful mangrove-based carbon market.

Center for Health Policy Development (BKPK) – Ministry of Health

AI Chatbot Development and Website Content Management Workshop

CERDAS was entrusted by the Ministry of Health – the Health Policy Development Agency (BKPK) to lead a capacity-building workshop for human resources in facing the challenges of the digital era. The program focused on the utilization of AI for automating information services and managing website content, covering materials such as implementing chatbots using Laravel, Livewire, OpenAI, Qdrant (RAG), as well as WordPress optimization. The training was intended for Computer Administrators, Statisticians, Public Relations Officers, and Librarians to enhance the efficiency of technology-based public information dissemination. Through this training, CERDAS is committed to advancing the technical capacity and digital literacy of government personnel, in order to deliver information services that are more responsive, adaptive, and driven by cutting-edge technology.

AHA Centre

6th ASEAN Joint Disaster Response Plan (AJDRP) Workshop

CERDAS is honoured to support the AHA Centre in facilitating the 6th ASEAN Joint Disaster Response Plan (AJDRP) Workshop held on 12–14 November 2025 in Jakarta. The workshop gathered representatives from 11 ASEAN Member States and a wide range of partners, fostering meaningful knowledge exchange, strengthened capacity mapping, and deeper collaboration to advance the One ASEAN One Response vision. This year’s workshop marked an important milestone with the adoption of the 4th AJDRP Scenario on Transboundary Flooding in the Lower Mekong Basin. By shifting toward a more regional, multistakeholder, and multisectoral operational approach, the workshop strengthened collective understanding and coordination efforts necessary for addressing cross-border impacts and enhancing ASEAN’s disaster response readiness.

Roster Management & Deployment System (READY)

CERDAS supported the development of the Roster Management & Deployment System (READY). READY is currently being operated in Fiji managed by the National Disaster Risk Management Office (NDRMO). READY-Fiji is a platform for the coordination of disaster risk management and humanitarian-related training and deployment in Fiji. Users can create an organisation and invite others to join their training and deployments. READY helps users avoid overlap and track Disaster Risk Management and Humanitarian deployment-related training.
